I’M SORRY

A POEM. I'm sorry I haven't been posting for a while. I decided to take a social break. I'm back now, and this poem says it all.

I’ve been away for quite some time 

I had to make more than a dime

So that body and soul could chime 

In this hostile clime

But I’m now ready to mime

You can hit me up anytime

I’m sorry it took this long

I had to find where I belong

It took me strategizing all daylong

On hearing the resonant echo of the gong

I began singing my song

And I started to feel among

There’s no going back now

I guess you could exclaim wow

I’ve found out how

To reap what I sow

And I’m never going low

Till I fulfil my vow.
